Sand beneath your feet, the endless horizon, and the feeling of being able to simply dive right in—it's only logical that a place as special as St. Peter-Ording is not only a wonderful vacation destination, but that its unique flair also inspires musicians to create new works.
It all started years ago with Johannes Oerding. Many of his songs were written at the StrandGut Resort. We have since become a real home away from home for him and many other musician friends, and we have developed a very special friendship with all of them. The evenings (and nights) when one or the other of them took over the bar and mixed a few drinks together with our crew also remain unforgettable.
Anyway, now the musicians come not only for the good drinks, but also to give a small, intimate live concert once a year at our StrandGut Sessions on Germany's most beautiful natural stage. The following artists will be performing in 2026: Johannes Oerding, Wincent Weiss, Max Giesinger, Beyond the Black, and Wolfgang Niedecken (BAP) with his band. Our popular Family Day for young and old with free admission will also take place again – Wilhelmine and Lina Bó are already confirmed as the first acts.
About Max Giesinger
With his new album “Glück auf den Strassen” (Happiness on the Streets), Max Giesinger takes his audience on a road trip full of new sounds to the origins of the motivation that inspired him to make music. The title track exudes the lightness of summer and, like all the other songs on the album, is perfect for experiencing live together under the open sky. At the same time, 2026 will mark the 10th anniversary of his single “80 Millionen” and his album “Der Junge, der rennt,” which helped him break through—so wonderful summer evenings full of emotion are in store.
