Namasté – our yoga goodie at StrandGut in St. Peter-Ording.

Even if the sky should happen to be cloudy at that moment: you can always manage a little sun salutation. The faces of the participants in the courses with yoga instructor Claudia also beam. Do you also want to be more poised again? Actively do something for your inner balance? Then our work-life lounge is a fantastic place to do just that. Positive. Open. Flooded with light. At one with nature. A real source of strength, bursting with harmony and energy.

And even better: for guests at our hotel, the yoga classes with Claudia only cost a friendly smile (nope, your muscles won’t ache from that). By the way: as soon as the cold weather no longer drives you indoors onto the mat, the classes are even held outdoors. Everyone is welcome on our spacious terrace, whether they’re a stiff Hanseatic local or a fully-fledged origami master.

All yoga classes are free of charge for our hotel guests*

You can find out at what times yoga classes are held by looking at the current course schedules. All yoga sessions are free of charge for our hotel guests. You’re not staying with us this time but would still like to join in? Nothing easier than that – just sign up at our reception and you’re in for €20 per session!

Head over heels in love with Hatha yoga? In this case, you can also book a private lesson with Claudia at any time, which will then be individually tailored to your fitness level (based on the course times).

In addition, our work-life lounge can be booked for sports courses, retreats or workshops.

*Our regular but not daily yoga courses with our in-house yoga instructor Claudia are free of charge for you as a hotel guest. We apologise for any inconvenience if the courses are cancelled due to illness or holidays as well as the rooms being occupied. Thank you very much!

Our yoga instructor Claudia

Our Claudia has been leading the yoga courses and retreats at our hotel with a great deal of warmth since 2018. In the meantime, she has already been passionately practising yoga for over 20 years. Her teaching is characterised by a clear structure and caring attention, the focus is on alignment as well as on maintaining one’s own space for a mindful experience. She starts from the point you’re at and prepares your individual path into your own yoga practice.

Claudia has German and Indian training in the classical Hatha yoga style. Inspired by traditional yoga teachings, she spent almost two years in Mysore, India, delving deeper into the practices and source texts.

Here you can find an interview with Claudia.
