Sand beneath your feet, the endless horizon, and the feeling of being able to simply dive right in—it's only logical that a place as special as St. Peter-Ording is not only a wonderful vacation destination, but that its unique flair also inspires musicians to create new works.
It all started years ago with Johannes Oerding. Many of his songs were written at the StrandGut Resort. We have since become a real home away from home for him and many other musician friends, and we have developed a very special friendship with all of them. The evenings (and nights) when one or the other of them took over the bar and mixed a few drinks together with our crew also remain unforgettable.
Anyway, now the musicians come not only for the good drinks, but also to give a small, intimate live concert once a year at our StrandGut Sessions on Germany's most beautiful natural stage. The following artists will be performing in 2026: Johannes Oerding, Wincent Weiss, Max Giesinger, Beyond the Black, and Wolfgang Niedecken (BAP) with his band. Our popular Family Day for young and old with free admission will also take place again – Wilhelmine and Lina Bó are already confirmed as the first acts.

Over the course of his 20-year career, Johannes Oerding has proven that he stands for continuity and musical quality like no other: all of his albums have achieved at least gold status, many of them even multiple platinum.
