Sand beneath your feet, the endless horizon, and the feeling of being able to simply dive right in—it's only logical that a place as special as St. Peter-Ording is not only a wonderful vacation destination, but that its unique flair also inspires musicians to create new works.
It all started years ago with Johannes Oerding. Many of his songs were written at the StrandGut Resort. We have since become a real home away from home for him and many other musician friends, and we have developed a very special friendship with all of them. The evenings (and nights) when one or the other of them took over the bar and mixed a few drinks together with our crew also remain unforgettable.
Anyway, now the musicians come not only for the good drinks, but also to give a small, intimate live concert once a year at our StrandGut Sessions on Germany's most beautiful natural stage. The following artists will be performing in 2026: Johannes Oerding, Wincent Weiss, Max Giesinger, Beyond the Black, and Wolfgang Niedecken (BAP) with his band. Our popular Family Day for young and old with free admission will also take place again – Wilhelmine and Lina Bó are already confirmed as the first acts.
About Beyond the Black
The band Beyond the Black, fronted by singer Jennifer Haben, has been thrilling fans worldwide for years. Following their self-titled album Beyond The Black (No. 2 on the German album charts, 2023), the band toured internationally, including Australia, New Zealand, and Latin America, and played at festivals such as Wacken Open Air, Hellfest, and Graspop. 2025 will be dominated by their sixth studio album Break The Silence, which will be released on January 9, 2026. With powerful metal anthems, emotional ballads, and an exclusive live setup, Beyond The Black promises an unforgettable concert experience.
