March 19 and 20, 2027, at Restaurant Deichkind at the StrandGut Resort
In 2027, we at the StrandGut Resort St. Peter-Ording will once again be participating in the Schleswig-Holstein Gourmet Festival—and with none other than Felix Gabel. From New York to Sylt – Felix Gabel has experienced the cuisines of the world. Stops along the way, such as Domenico in New York, COI in San Francisco, and Gaggan in Bangkok—one of the world’s top 50 restaurants—have shaped his style. Today, he delights guests on the island of Sylt with his expertise: since 2017, he has been leading the three restaurants at the 5-star superior Hotel Budersand. At the fine-dining restaurant KAI3, his Nordic fusion cuisine unfolds—creative, sustainable, and deeply rooted in the region. Together with his international team, the amateur surfer creates dishes with a story that surprise and delight. Northern German and Scandinavian ingredients blend here into exciting compositions that reinterpret the flavors of the North.
