Schleswig-Holstein Gourmet Festival 2026 at the StrandGut Resort
On February 12 and 13, 2026, the StrandGut Resort became the stage for extraordinary cuisine, inspiring personalities, and truly spine-tingling moments. As part of the Schleswig-Holstein Gourmet Festival, we welcomed two impressive chefs: Katja Baum, winner of the successful Sat.1 show “The Taste” in 2024, and Helena Gouveia, finalist of the show and awarded the Michelin Guide's “Bib Gourmand” for her “Flottbeker Schmiede” in Hamburg. Two women, two styles – one common denominator: passion, creativity, and absolute dedication to the product.
The motto of the evening: “From spoon to menu” – relaxed, unconventional, and with a charming nod to the well-known TV show. In true “The Taste” style, the evening began with the signature spoons of the two guest chefs. Small works of art that showed what taste can do when it takes center stage.
This was followed by a 5-course menu in a class of its own, which took our guests on a journey between clear aesthetics, Mediterranean lightness, and bold flavor combinations. Katja Baum impressed with her pure focus on the product and creative sophistication – clear lines, big impact. Helena Gouveia brought her cosmopolitan, Mediterranean-inspired signature style to the plates – humorous, surprising, and full of depth.
What made these two evenings so special was not just the food. It was the interplay. Talk, entertainment, a competition, live music – and right in the middle of it all was our team led by head chef Markus Friederici, who, together with the guest chefs, created a kitchen full of energy, respect, and team spirit.
The soulful sounds of the Nite Club Duo – with the warm voice of Sandy Edwards and the groovy piano playing of Matthias Lutz – carried the room not only musically, but also emotionally. Music that warms you from the inside. Just like good food.
For us at StrandGut Resort, it was a special pleasure to be part of the Schleswig-Holstein Gourmet Festival again. Following Nelson Müller last year, we were once again able to organize an evening in a class of its own – this time dedicated to visionary, creative female power.
Two evenings that will remain in our memories for a long time to come. And we are already looking forward to what is to come.
