A Frisian break in the Dünen-Therme spa.

Our StrandGut Resort has formed a solid unit with the Dünen-Therme spa since the hotel opened in 2007: our hotel guests love the short walk in their bathrobes through the direct passage to the unique 6,500 sqm adventure pool and wellness and health centre, which now offers a wider range of experiences.

A piece of the StrandGut Resort can also be found in Dünen-Therme with the opening of the rêst. Our motto “fresh, young, affordable” also comes into its own here. Whether it’s savoury, refreshing or sweet – our handmade delicacies are certainly not boring.

Our restaurant is centrally located between the sauna and swimming pool area, with an unobstructed view towards the salt marshes and the 12 km long sandy beach with its typical Nordic stilt houses. In good weather, the spacious terrace by the outdoor pool also invites you to while away the hours. The sauna area has relaxing seating and a fireplace for chilling out and relaxing. Your taste buds are refreshingly tickled in the swimming pool area: our frozen yoghurt machine is a hit with all ages because you can help yourself to the delicacy and add whatever toppings you want from our varied selection. Our team is looking forward to your visit.

“rêst” is Frisian and, you can probably guess, means “rest”.
