Out artists this year

We kick things off on Sunday with a Family Day for young and old alike, featuring music and entertainment. Joining us will be Wilhelmine, one of the most impressive voices in German-language pop music today; Lina Bó, who combine Rhineland-Cuban temperament with Danish Flensburg serenity; ela., who became known for her surprise victory in the 2014 ESC preliminary round; as well as Christian Pletz and Jan Haarmeyer with their musical reading adventures with North Sea vibes and balloon artist Herr Kurzweyl, who will captivate the kids in particular. Admission is free on this day!

On Monday, look forward to Wincent Weiss, where the concert evening will be an open-air summer party with hits such as “Musik sein,” “Feuerwerk,” “Wer wenn nicht wir,” and new songs. Support comes from Samuel Rösch. 

On Tuesday, Johannes Oerding, now one of Germany's biggest stars, awaits you. All of his released albums have gone at least gold, and most of them have gone multi-platinum. The concert at the StrandGut Sessions will be a very special experience for everyone, as Oerding hardly ever plays in front of such a small audience. Support comes from BRUNKE. 

On Wednesday, Max Giesinger will take his audience on a road trip full of new sounds with his new album “Glück auf den Strassen” (Happiness on the Streets). The title track exudes the lightness of summer and, like all the other songs on the album, is perfect for experiencing live together under the open sky. Support comes from Lady LayG and Fidi Steinbeck. 

On Thursday, Beyond The Black will take to the stage. The band, fronted by singer Jennifer Haben, has been thrilling fans worldwide for years. Following their self-titled album Beyond The Black (No. 2 on the German album charts, 2023), the band toured internationally, including Australia, New Zealand, and Latin America, and played at festivals such as Wacken Open Air, Hellfest, and Graspop. 2025 will be dominated by their sixth studio album Break The Silence, which will be released on January 9, 2026. With powerful metal anthems, emotional ballads, and an exclusive live setup, Beyond The Black promises an unforgettable concert experience.

One of Germany's greatest artists will be playing a unique, very special evening with his band, the likes of which has never been seen before. A must-see for all Niedecken & BAP fans. After Wolfgang Niedecken played a selection of songs from his solo program “Dylanreise & zwischen Start und Ziel” together with pianist Mike Herting at the StrandGut Sessions in 2024, he will be back in 2026 with a large ensemble. This time with songs from his huge repertoire, with which he and his band BAP are going on their 50th anniversary tour “Die Zielgerade” (The Home Stretch). Of course, all the classics and hits will be there – ballads such as “Du kanns zaubre” and “Paar Daach fröher” to rock songs such as “Nemm mich met,” “Waschsalon,” and, of course, “Verdamp lang her.”. Support comes from SCHUMAN.

Wincent Weiss

Wincent Weiss will be performing on numerous stages across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland during his big summer tour in 2026. He will be coming to our StrandGut Sessions in St. Peter-Ording for an exclusive show, where you can expect an evening full of favorite songs, goosebump moments, and danceable beats. With hits such as “Musik sein,” “Feuerwerk,” “Wer wenn nicht wir” and new songs in tow, the concert evening will be an open-air musical summer party. His album “Irgendwo Ankommen,” released in 2023, was an intense step toward finding himself—noticeable in every song, measurable in millions of streams and followers. Johannes Oerding

Over the course of his 20-year career, Johannes Oerding has proven that he stands for continuity and musical quality like no other: all of his albums have achieved at least gold status, many of them even multiple platinum. Max Giesinger

Wilhelmine

Wilhelmine is one of the most impressive voices in German-language pop. Growing up in a squat in Berlin-Kreuzberg, she is characterized by an openness and honesty that is reflected in all her songs. Her music combines organic pop sounds with emotional depth—sometimes delicate, sometimes powerful, always authentic. Themes such as healing, female rage, empowerment, and solidarity run like a thread through her work. Lina Bó

Lina Bó ... Rhineland-Cuban temperament meets Danish Flensburg serenity. The songs are sometimes melancholic, sometimes danceable, full of joie de vivre and optimism. South American exoticism mixed with German folk pop is reminiscent of the best times of Zaz and Manu Chaos. The band stands for peace and respect, against war and intolerance, for joie de vivre and hope. Lina Bó are Lina (Celina von Wrochem) and Bó (Luca Bo Hansen). Musical reading adventures by Christian Pletz & Jan Haarmeyer

Children's book author Christian Pletz and musician Jan Haarmeyer have been delighting young and old alike for years with their musical adventures featuring Flinki, the little North Sea bird. Flinki's adventures are read aloud and presented visually, while Jan Haarmeyer's songs provide musical accompaniment with their unmistakable North Sea vibes. How do you do the crab dance? How do pirates encourage each other? Who is Karla the jellyfish? And how do the heroes of a story celebrate a great reconciliation party at the end? Christian Pletz and Jan Haarmeyer provide answers to all these questions with their interactive presentation and captivate their audience. Age restrictions? There aren't any. Children aged three and up, families, and even seniors love the musical reading adventures thanks to their versatility and catchy tunes.

Herr Kurzweyl

Whether it's a mouse, a giraffe or a unicorn, the children can choose from countless things and have their heart's desires fulfilled. So the children are happy and spend a carefree time with their parents. And Mr. Kurzweyl, who regularly performs in the West Coast Park in St. Peter-Ording in the summer, always has the right balloon to hand for the one or other big child, i.e. adult.

Samuel Rösch

Samuel stands for German pop with depth—music that touches, connects, and captivates. BRUNKE

BRUNKE is actually an islander, because he comes from Juist, where he keeps returning. He is a person who needs to be grounded, who needs the connection between water and sand that has shaped him since early childhood. Brunke has been making music since his teenage days, when he took on the songs of US superstars and simply played them back, wondering why he was getting hundreds of thousands of thumbs up on YouTube. So it's no surprise that when you google his name, he is described as an ‘internet personality’. In February 2025, BRUNKE released his album ‘Sonnenbrand’ (Sunburn) and immediately went on tour. And the results are impressive: sold-out shows in Hamburg, Cologne and Karlsruhe and an album entry at number 30 on the Media Control Charts.

Fidi's songs are like a hug. With her exceptionally soulful and approachable style of writing and singing, Fidi Steinbeck creates her own unique soundscape of emotional German pop with her cello. She takes us into her own world. Fidi's world. In her songs, all sides, rough edges, hopes and dreams – in other words, all feelings – are given a voice. SCHUMAN

On the road again! Rainer Schumann, drummer for Fury in the Slaughterhouse, is performing with his solo project SCHUMAN at SPO. This time as support for his old companions from Wolfgang Niedecken's BAP – what fun! Guitarist and SCHUMAN co-producer Carsten Litfin provides the electric guitar sounds, sometimes playful and expansive, sometimes solid and powerful, but always exactly what the songs need. Yes, the songs are the most important thing with SCHUMAN – sometimes in English, sometimes in German... and one verse even in French... huh? Thematically, all the tracks are intense and straightforward, with SCHUMAN not shying away from sensitive topics – or cheerful ones, for that matter. Here, seasoned musicians have realised their dream, and with this project they are continuing what they once set out to do: it's all about music and entertainment. First have a good laugh and then maybe think about it again later – that's how it should be! SCHUMAN take their audience on a journey of surprises – and in this wonderful location, too.
